Flashback Friday - an original Teen for Teen feature
I created this feature because of the pressure bloggers feel to keep up with fresh books and the latest trends. I love getting my hands on new releases but sometimes I just want to go back in time and revisit old favourites - or even discover books I missed when they were first published. Some of the featured books are out of print, some are being re-released and others are simply great books I think deserve more exposure.
Flashback Friday gives bloggers an effortless, guilt-free way of exploring the archives and showcasing books the wider blogging community may have missed. It can be posted weekly or bi-monthly and usually includes a review, a spotlight on the author and an update on what's happened to the book since it was published. This may include news on sequels, awards, movie deals or print run notices.
This meme is designed to show older books off to their best advantage - whether they were published in the 1905 or 2005!
